Public Lava is a hazard which can be seen during the Dr. Destructo special event. Dr. Destructo spawns them in the world during the event. Anyone in the world can destroy them regardless of if they have access to the lock. Otherwise, it acts like regular Lava Block.

It may be intentional as Seth gave away toxic waste in Player appreciation week 2015

 Public Lava is a hazard which can be seen during the [[Dr. Destructo]] special event. Dr. Destructo spawns them in the world during the event. Anyone in the world can destroy them regardless of if they have access to the lock. Otherwise, it acts like regular Lava Block.
-On August 14, 2014, developer [[Seth Robinson|Seth]] gave some Public Lava out to the public by mistake at the [[Player Appreciation Week#Day_Seven|Super Mod Dance Party]]. He didn't host many dance parties for a while after that, because he wanted to make sure a mistake like that didn't happen again.
