Cursed and Duct-Taped Growtopians
Alright, so, it seems that a lot of people don't know what being CURSED or DUCT-TAPED actually means! It's beginning to get annoying, so I will tell you all about it :)
How do I recognize cursed or duct-taped people?
It's not hard, really!
A person who is CURSED - They have grey skin that has a dark effect to it. Cursed people can only be seen in the world HELL, because they are stuck there. (most of the time, cursed people also have duct-tape!)
A person who is DUCT-TAPED - Duct-Tape is an item that mods have, when used on a player it covers their character's mouth in two pieces of duct-tape. When someone has a duct-tape on their mouth, they can't speak.. Well, all that comes out is 'm's and 'f's.. Example: "Hey what's up?" = "Mfm mmm'f ff?"
What are cursed Growtopians capable of doing?
Someone who is only cursed can do basically anything, except they can't leave the world HELL. That means they can't warp to you or go through doors. Not even a door that leads them to the white door. If they try to do so, this message will appear: The door laughs at you.
What can a duct-taped Growtopian do?
Someone who is only duct-taped can do the following: Trade with others, visit different worlds, build, break, splice (and all that basic stuff) However, people with duct-tape CAN'T say things, they will only come out as 'm's and 'f's as stated above. People with duct-tape can't talk, write on signs, edit door IDs, message anyone, broadcast or write on bulletin boards and other public items.
So, what should I not do to these people?
Don't ask the duct-taped person to message you or write on a sign, it doesn't work!
Don't ask a cursed person to go to a world. They can't leave the world HELL!
Don't try to buy the duct-tape! You can't buy the effect, just like you can't buy the yellow skin that an egg gives you!
Stop calling cursed and duct-taped people scammers -_-! Scammers get BANNED, only the people who GET SCAMMED or HAVE BEEN IN A SCAM WORLD TO WATCH IT get cursed or duct-taped! (There are also other reasons, read the rules to see them all!)
Don't be mean! Never be mean, ever! Laughing at and mocking another person's misfortune is just MEAN! It's bad enough these people cannot talk/visit worlds, no need to make it even worse!
How do I communicate with someone who is duct-taped?
It's not all that easy, because they can't say anything. But you can still ask them yes or no questions! (The kind of questions that can only be answered with a yes or a no). Trading with them might not be so easy, but you can try to guess the words they are trying to say by counting the number of letters. For someone who is duct-taped, life can be pretty lonely. Asking those simple yes-or-no questions can let them communicate at least a bit ;)
