The Rock Chisel is a splicable hand item which was added as part of the Growassic Park update on October 7, 2016.

When equipped, the Rock Chisel grants the Precision Tool mod, which allows the player to break blocks more slowly and pull other players towards them upon punching them. It also decreases punch range.
The Rock Chisel is primarily used to break any type of fossil rock in order to make it drop a Fossil once the rock has been extracted with a Rock Hammer. Punching it without having worn a Rock Chisel beforehand will result in the fossil being smashed, leaving the original respective version of the rock behind.
Equipping an Amber Necklace when chipping a fossil rock will give a 5% chance of doubling the amount of Fossil dropped.
