The Battle Pet Cage is an item added during the Pet Battles Update. It is used to train a pet for battling.

Usage

1.  Determine the pet to use for fighting. Each pet has a different ability, so using the correct pet and ability combination is important. Once it is put into the cage, it cannot be removed. Only pets of the same type can be used in a Battle Pet Cage, unless CRISPR Technology is used.
2. Gene-splice a new ability on top of the first pet. Each gene-splice costs 10 World Locks. When used, the pet is gone forever. Another pet needs to be gene-spliced, to have a set of three pets.
3. Two battle pet sets are required to fight.
4. Place the battle pets into a Battle Leash which will then allow the player to fight another player.
5. NOTE: Destroying a Battle Pet Cage with any pet inside will destroy the pet forever.
