The Flaming Cape is a new item introduced during 2015 Halloween Week.
Additonal Info
Flaming Cape can be made by dropping Vampire Cape In A Highly Combustible Box and close it. Then use an Eldritch Flame or a Pocket Lighter on it. It has the same effects as Phoenix Wings (Fire trail appears when jumping and burning effect when respawn/die, even though the burning effect when you respawn is slightly different. The Phoenix Wing produce fire one by one, while the Flaming Cape bursts out the flame).
The flaming cape does not resist fire! You will still take normal damage from Lava.
