The Pocket Lighter is a consumable item which is used to spawn fire on any tile that has no water in it. Using this will only spawn 1 tile of fire, which will spread overtime. This is a one-use item.

This item was added on October 8th, 2015. It is meant to be used with the Firefighter Pack.

Additional Info:

• Item set on fire are in no danger of breaking or burning, except for the Highly Combustible Box. Fire will spread to nearby blocks, but it can not jump gaps, or move into spaces occupied by Water. Fires can be extinguished by using a Water Bucket, Water Balloon, or Fire Hose on them, and will be automatically removed if a Firehouse is in the world.

• This item does drop seeds and gems, but only if you ignite a background such as a Wooden Background. Igniting blocks will never drop seeds and gems, since there is a solid block in the way.

• Putting out 100 fires will earn you a Highly Combustible Box, which can be used to transform certain items into other items by placing the items within it, and setting it on fire.
• Putting out a fire tile gives you 1 Xp.
