A list of scammers is not useful to anyone.

It is not useful to the mods, as there is no proof of anything. We can't just sit around watching dozens of players accused of scamming all the time, there's plenty of active scams going at any one time that could be tended to instead of watching one person on the off chance that they might scam again.

It's not useful to the players, as memorizing a few random names won't save them from being scammed. The odds of bumping into any single person in this game are really pretty low, and any of those users could change their names at any time, making the list pointless. Players would be far better off learning what types of scams exist, and how to protect themselves, typically this is as easy as "Don't trust people with your items, don't drop your items for people, and don't buy worlds for the items within them."

What this list DOES do well is provide a platform for baseless slandering, and encourages bullying against the players listed.  Neither of those things are good things.
