The Cape of Shadows is an unsplicable back item which was added as part of Cinco De Mayo Week 2015 on May 1, 2015.
Function
 You can jump in mid-air! It's like flying, but less.

 Gravity - it's the law.

When equipped, the Cape of Shadows grants the Double Jump mod, which allows the player to jump a second time in mid-air. When the player respawns, the animation is replaced with a black swirling vortex, similar to the Nightmare Devil Wings. This item also causes the shadows of the player to appear when they jump, similar to the effect that the Doppelganger Potion gives.
