As of an update, the Legendary Katana is a new Legendary item from the Legendary Wizard, rewarded for completing the Quest for the Blade (this is only a small description that will be edited later on)

ProGenious interviewed GROWMIR , He said he was stupid by spending 980+ dls on this quest , he won't do anymore legendary quests until he stops being broke , actually we can say , growmir is the richest player on growtopia , because of his legendary items.
We can guess the real price of legendary wizard by adding up all the items. Legen Seed needs Doohickey (1-2), Watchmacallit (2-3) and Doodad (160-170) so it costs 163-175 wls. Dary Seed needs Kerjigger (90-100), Thingamajig (1-2) and Thingamabob (7000-8000) so it costs 7091-8102 wls!! Adding it up will amount to 7254-8277 wls approximately. Good luck, guys! growmir has the legendary dragon, legendary wings , and legendary katana.

Legendary Katana Scam

The Legendary Katana as a scam (which can go by other names) is one of the false broadcasts made by certain people. Such item would not exist in their world, and worlds that claim to display one to the public (when in actual fact they don't) drive many people to punishable mini-game scam worlds, possibly to earn cheated fame.

Before the Legendary Katana update, the so-called item is simply a Black Growsaber on a White Block, like this picture:

This item is probably untradeable so do not get tricked by people who say they sell a Legendary Katana.
