The Flame Scythe is a hand item which is the "Ultimate Prize" from the Brutal Bounce at The Carnival.

When equipped, it grants the player the Flame Scythe mod which gives the player the ability to break blocks faster, much like the Enhanced Digging Mod while replacing the player's fist with black lightning bolts with red lining.
Step 18 of the Quest For The Blade requires the player to deliver 20 of this item.
