Respawning

Respawning is one of the gameplay mechanics in Growtopia. When you respawn, you return to the nearest Checkpoint or the Main Door (or the White Door) if you haven't touched any checkpoints. This can be done manually by pressing the Menu button and pressing "Respawn" (Look at picture) or when you touch one kill hazard such as Death Spikes, Twisted Spikes, Venus Guytraps, etc., that can cause you immediate death. You may also be given an instant kill consumable such as the Psychotic Bunny or the Fire Wand, you can even be kicked by a world's owner/admin or by someone with a lock access if you are standing in their world or locked area.
