Function

The Growie Award is given to players by the developers when their Youtube video gets chosen as the Video Of The Week. When placed, the Growie Award serves a purely aesthetic purpose. One Growie Award is required in order to complete the Quest For Honor.

• A snippet of the Growtopia Gazette which announced the implementation of the Growie Award said, "To celebrate the creativity of Growtopians we're announcing a new prestigious weekly award called a Growie that we'll give to the creator of an epic Growtopia-related Youtube video. It also gets featured in the news for the entire week!"
• GrowNoobShow, a channel run by players Hakanss and RuneSport, won the first-ever Growie Award with their music video.
• The Growie Award is based on the Grammy Award. The name is a portmanteau of "grow" and "grammy".
• When a new Growie Award is handed out, a global message will say, "Growtopia Video of the Week: <video name> by <video creator>! Type /news to go watch it!"
