The Jellyfish is a Deadly Block which was added along with the Undersea Blast. It can normally found from Undersea Blasted worlds or from fishing.
Function
Similar to the Acid, a Jellyfish knocks the player back and stings the player until the player stops all motion when touched. A player will die after making contact with a pain block five times in quick succession (recovering from damage takes roughly 5 seconds). The Fireproof mod will not allow the player to take more hits, unlike with lava pain blocks. If placed connecting vertically, the jellyfish will extend into one longer jellyfish.
Trivia
- When a Jellyfish is placed on the top of the world, only the tentacles will be shown.
