The Vampire Cape is an unsplicable back item which was added as part of Halloween Week 2013 on October 28, 2013.

Function

You can jump in mid-air! It's like flying, but less.

Gravity - it's the law.

When equipped, the Vampire Cape grants the Double Jump mod, which allows the player to jump a second time in mid-air.

Equipping this item, alongside a Vampire Fangs, Slick Black Hair and Vamp Vest, will earn one the Costume Contest achievement.

Flaming Cape	1 can be dropped for every: • Vampire Cape (×1) burnt in a Highly Combustible Box.

There is a small chance for an Inside-Out Vampire Cape to be given instead when one consumes 25 Cape Tatters.
Prior to Halloween Week 2015, sacrificing a stack of items with rarity 101 or above to the Growganoth can directly reward one with a Vampire Cape.
Upon consumption of 25 cape tatters and getting a Vampire Cape, a message will appear saying "You crafted a Vampire Cape!"
This item is considered a part of the Vampire set, which consists of the following items:
