Somebody got bitten by the jealousy bug! None of these are legitimate reasons as to why jens shouldn't be a mod. In actuality, the things you listed make good points as to why he should be a mod.
Point #1- he didn't donate.
Good! Mods shouldn't donate to everyone. People who donate to everyone are often "people pleasers" who have a hard time saying no. Mods can't be like that. Mods have to have a backbone to be able to punish people and follow through with punishments. They have to be assertive.
On an unrelated note, JENS actually donated to me a long, long time ago, I didn't ask him in specific, I posted on the forums and asked anyone, and Jens come forward and offered, which I find really kind. He obviously chooses which projects are worthy of donating to. If its a good cause he will probably donate, but if its not, the person shoukd find their own resources like everyone else!
Point #2- he thanked people. Seriously, that is your reason? He thanked people in a broadcast? You truly are a jealous and bitter person for raining on Jens parade. He did nothing bad to you, he is very worthy of being a moderator, and he is a great one at that!
Jealousy is extremely ugly. The developers pick people who have a genuine personality, they check all your logs, someone like you would never be picked. Instead if you just congratulated him and felt proud of him, then you'd be respected in the community, but being bitter from jealousy doesn't gain you any respect, only disgust.
