Being a toggleable animated foreground block, a Giant Festival Lantern can be toggled on or off via punching. When toggled on, a Giant Festival Lantern will change its appearance, showing a 2-framed animation of its light alternating.

- The Giant Festival Lantern is a reference to Parol from the Philippines. It is a Filipino ornamental lantern displayed during the Christmas season. Parols are traditionally constructed using bamboo and Japanese paper, and are illuminated with candles, oil lamps, or carbide lamps.
