The Rift Cape is an unsplicable back item which was added as part of the Pre-WinterFest 2020 update on December 3, 2020.

When equipped, the Rift Cape grants the Double Jump: Rift Cape! mod, which allows the player to jump a second time in mid-air.
This cape features several special customization functions. To set the color for the cape and collar, the player needs to enter an RGB (Red, Blue, Green) value. To separate the individual values, the player needs to use a comma. Setting the Time Dilation Cycle Time defines how often the cape will change between the two Cape Styles. The cycle time is in seconds, with the maximum number of seconds allowed being 86400 seconds (24 hours).
Trivia
- Setting a negative Time Dilation Cycle Time changes the digits to 429496, which is the first 6 numbers of the max integer.
- Setting the Time Dilation Cycle Time to 0 will pause the transition and darken the player.
- The Rift Cape became available again for 9.99 USD on December 25 to 26, 2020 and would become tradeable on May 1, 2021 (previously April 10, 2021).
- As of Garuda's Glory 2025, wearing a hand item will expose the player's hand even if the cape is closed.
