The Mining Mech is an unsplicable chest item which was added as a part of the Spelunkorama Strikes Back! update.

When equipped, it grants the Punch Damage: Mining Mech mod to the player, which allows them to break blocks faster and similar to a Digger's Spade, it can break Cave Dirt and Dark Cave Background in a single hit.
