When equipped, it grants the Punch Damage: Giant Eye mod which allows the player to break block faster.

As of the Mutant Kitchen update on July 27, 2019, the Slithering Serpent Hair replaces the Giant Eye Head as a possible drop from consuming a Rotting Fish Guts Club Sandwich.
As of December 25 2021, players could obtain the Giant Eye Head from the Winterfest Calendar - 2021.
