September 17th: Role Up! Hello Growtopians, The September Update Part 2 is finally here! Do you love farming? Or do you prefer dealing with things in outer space? Perhaps you have always wanted to be a doctor? Now you can master these roles and other professions in this all new Role Up update! |
The Role Up! update was released on September 17, 2018, as the second part of the September Update. The update included roles that can be accessed through the /roles command. Leveling up specific roles will grant the player items. Each day, a specific role is chosen to give extra points and a Growtoken upon completion of the first quest of that day.

Formula
The amount of gems required to start a new quest is calculated by the ratios of consecutive squares [(n+1)²/n] here's an example to make it simple : if the second quest costs 3000 gems, for the third one, it's 2²/1² * 3000 (previous cost) = 12000 gems, for the forth quest its 3²/2² * 12000 = 27000, and so on.
- Wearing the Jack set { Jack's Hat, Jack's Vest, Jack's Jeans, and Jack's Shoes } give 3% bonus points. it can be stacked with the Supplier's Cape or Crafter's Cape which give 5% bonus points.
- Supplier roles refers to Farmer, Surgeon, Fishing and Star Captain. While crafter roles refers to Builder and Chef.
