Players are duct-taped by moderators if they say offensive things. When used on a player, it gives the player the Duct Tape mod, which muffles up their speech for 10 minutes.
Trivia
- Whenever a muted player tries to chat, their words are replaced by sequences consisting of m's and f's, similar to someone in real life trying to talk with their mouth covered.
- Equipping either Iron Mask, Parka Hood - Orange, Stitchlips or catching a Grumbleteeth malady also muffles the wearer's voice, similar to the Duct Tape.
- The Duct Tape also restricts the player from communicating with others. Several restricted activities include: broadcasts, editing doors or signs, private messaging, and writing on Bulletin Boards, Mailboxes and Holiday Gift Boxes.
- If a player tries to get themselves Duct Taped, a ban may be given out instead.
- An ominous sound can be heard in a world when a player is being duct-taped there.
