The Training Port is a foreground block that was added alongside the Gone Fishin' Update. You can only put perfect fish into the port, and the port only works when it is connected to a Fish Tank.
Each port can only hold 1 perfect fish.
Feeding Fish
You can feed your fish Fish Flakes, other Fishes, or Fish Chunks to give it XP. In Training, your fish will gain 3x the XP for every pound of fish fed. For example, a 30lb Catfish will give your fish 90 XP. For every Fish Chunk given, your fish only gains 1 XP.
You shouldn't overfeed your fish, as your fish will become "super full" and will need Fish Medicine. Failing to medicate your fish will cause your fish to die. Fish require a lot of attention. It will generally change its status every 2 hours (For example, your fish will go from hungry to starving). Make sure your fish is Moderately Full before going to sleep, or else it will probably die. If your fish dies, it can be revived with a Fish Reviver, which can be purchased in the Growtopia Store for 5,000 Gems.
Fish Leveling
- Level 1 to 2 is 50 XP.
- Level 2 to 3 is 150 XP.
- Level 3 to 4 is 175 XP.
- Level 4 to 5 is 250 XP.
- Level 5 to 6 is ??? XP.
- Level 6 to 7 is ??? XP.
- Level 7 to 8 is 600 XP.
- Level 8 to 9 is 750 XP.
- Level 9 to 10 is 1000 XP.
