To splice Ice block, you will require Cloudstone Block and Glass Pane.
When your character walks on ice, it would slide across it and makes you have a hard time controlling your character. Ice has a special mod which makes you bump off or slide slightly on other blocks after you jump off the ice. It lasts a few seconds. Strangely, when you try to walk in the opposite direction on ice, you go slower, but when you hit a pinball bumper while on ice, you go faster than normal speed.
Farming this block also gives a low chance to obtain the Penguin Leash.
