Birth Certificate is an unsplicable consumable which was added alongside the Surgical Kit as part of the Growtopia General Hospital update.

Function

Consuming a Birth Certificate changes the user's GrowID. The item gives the Recently Name-Changed mod, which lasts for 60 days and prevents the player from using another Birth Certificate until the mod expires.

Step 19 of the Quest For Honor requires the player to deliver 3 of this item.

Trivia

As part of Player Appreciation Week 2019, the duration of the Recently Name-Changed mod was increased to 60 days instead of 30.
As part of Player Appreciation Week 2020, players under the age of 14 could no longer consume a Birth Certificate.
As part of Player Appreciation Week 2021, the Birth Certificate was removed from the Growtopia Store and now can be purchased from Locke for 15 World Locks.
