The Monster Nian is an unobtainable non-solid NPC foreground block which was added as part of Lunar New Year 2023 on January 21, 2023.
Function
The Monster Nian is an NPC you encounter after completing the parkour at REALMOFNIAN, which was added during the Lunar New Year 2023 update. Use a Chinese Firework on The Monster Nian to receive a prize (with a slight chance of getting two if wearing any Draconic item).
If enough players use Chinese Fireworks a bar fills up and the Nian gets scared away. After the Nian gets scared away, it disappears for 3 hours. During the 3 hours the Lunar Chest appears in the store for 25,000 gems.
