A consumable item exclusive to moderators but some users have them as well. They serve as a way for muting a player for ten minutes if a player uses it, but if a moderator uses it then they can set how much time the Duct Tape will last. If a player is being offensive, a moderator will use this on them, making them unable to speak clearly for a set time. Puts two grey pieces of tape on the player's mouth. It also prevents the player from making broadcasts, editing doors or signs, private messaging, and writing on Bulletin Boards, Mailboxes, and Holiday Gift Boxes.
A player who is duct-taped will have their speech muffled. Whenever a muted player tries to chat, their words are replaced by sequences consisting of m's and f's, similar to someone in real life trying to talk with their mouth covered. Similar to the Iron Mask. Trying to get yourself Duct-Taped on purpose will result in a ban instead. An ominous sound is heard when another player is duct taped if in the same world as them.
If a mod or developer duct-tapes a player's mouth, other players near the duct-taped player have a chance of being duct-taped as well, as the mod is duct-taping the IP address.
