id:FossilA Fossil is an item added during the Growassic Park update. It is obtainable from smashing a Fossil Rock, or other rock-like objects that fossils can spawn in including Deep Rock, Boulder, Mars Rock, and Asteroid using a Rock Hammer and a Rock Chisel. It can be used in a Fossil Prep Station to extract items out of the fossil.
If a Fossil Brush is used on a Fossil which has just dropped out of a Fossil Rock, it will give a Polished Fossil.
