The grass trees drop out a lot of grasses and seeds so it is easy to start a farm with it. It can also be spliced with sand to make wheat and when you harvest wheat, there is a possibility for you to get a butterfly leash which you can either sell for 1-3 world locks or keep it for halloween and sacrifise it for a bat leash in return.
