The Gaekkebrev is an unsplicable background block which was added as part of Easter Week 2022 on April 15, 2022.

Function

When placed, the Gaekkebrev serves a fully aesthetic purpose. Placing Gaekkebrev in a 3x3 tile will form a cut-out paper-like design.

The Gaekkebrev is based on a Danish easter tradition of the same name, in which a cut-out letter is filled with a poem but left unsigned. The receiver then has to guess who've made the letter in order to receive a chocolate egg; the receiver will have to give a chocolate egg to the sender if they were not able to guess the sender's identity.
