Function

I'm attacking the darkness!

My magic fades went out.

When equipped, the Magic Stones grant the Lightsource: Magic Stones mod which, similar to a Hand Torch, allows the player to emit light in dark areas. They are also used to enter Rune Carved Doors which gives players access to the mines.
