When equipped, it grants the player the Punch Damage: Rocket Power mod which gives it the same effect as the Pickaxe, allowing players to break blocks faster. It also has a special punching effect that causes particles of the block to fly when it is smashed.
Trivia
The Rocket-Powered Warhammer could be a reference to Reinhardt's Rocket Hammer from Overwatch.
