The Night Vision Goggles is an item that came with the Spelunkorama! update. It can be bought from the store for 110 Growtokens. When worn in your own world, all Dark Cave Background or similar "dark" backgrounds turn visible (they no longer apply darkness on blocks). When worn in somebody else's world, it will have the same effect, except it will use up a D Battery from your inventory for every minute you have the Night Vision Goggles equipped. If you have none in your inventory and you're in somebody else's world, the goggles are purely cosmetic.
