- Das Red Balloons can easily be used to cheat on parkours and spleef games. Use them and Coffee to get past Dragon Gate games that have other little obstacles like platforms above them or ice that make it impossible. Players can also fly over lava, spikes, and other nuisances on obstacle courses.
- Das Red Balloons can also be used to past between 2 Spikes.
- The in-game description "Everyone's a Captain Kirk" is a reference to the 1983 song 99 Luftballoons by Polish singer Nena . In particular, it is a reference to the English rendition of the song released the following year by the same singer, 99 Red Balloons. The line in particular refers to the fighter jet pilots being viewed as heroes, as "Captain Kirk" is the name of the protagonist of the Star Trek series.
