The Giving Tree is a non-solid provider foreground block which was added as part of WinterFest 2015. It is obtained by using a Lumber Axe on any of the trees in the world GROWCH.
Function
When a Giving Tree is harvested (by being punched), 1 Winter Gift will be credited into the player's backpack. If the player's backpack is full, the Winter Gift will drop on the Giving Tree's tile instead. A Giving Tree can be harvested every 4 hours, provided that it is WinterFest.
If Tree Decorations are used on the tree, it will produce a special WinterFest item instead. A Giving Tree which is ready for harvesting cannot be given any more Tree Decorations. Each Tree Decoration is worth 1%, and a maximum of 100 can be given to a single tree. Harvesting a Giving Tree will make it lose all of its decorations.
