The Nuclear Fuel is an unsplicable consumable which was added as part of the Daily Challenges update on November 21st, 2015.
Function
Nuclear Fuel is primarily used in order to activate a Forge. Each Nuclear Fuel consumed on a Forge will increase its temperature by 100 degrees. Fuel needs to be continuously added until the Forge reaches at least 1,000 degrees for it to be used.
Forging an item will drain the Forge's temperature down to zero. The Forge may also lose heat every second.
In a similar manner, a Nuclear Fuel can also be fed to a Steam Engine to increase its temperature by 100 degrees. The Steam Engine will continuously generate steam power to its left or right (depending on the direction it faces) until its temperature decreases below 500 degrees.
