The Cursed Fishing Rod is a special Fishing Rod, introduced during Halloween Week 2015.

The Cursed Fishing Rod grants several effects while fishing, such as having Double Fish, larger fish, or even, getting respawned, exploded fish, or sent to Growganoth.
Using a Cursed Fishing Rod with a Catch-of-the-Day Bait and getting the perfect fish buff with a fish of a possible max size of 150lb will only give a 100lb fish.
A player can lose or gain back their bait when using the Cursed Fishing Rod.
The rod is required to catch a Megalodon.
