The Cryptic Scroll can be made by combining an Afro, Dungeon Door Seed, and a Shifting Scroll in a Chemical Combiner on a Leaf Block at mid-night (00:00) GT Time. Be wary, as making this item freezes you for a moment, preventing you from moving and thus making more scrolls.
