The Emerald Lock is like a normal world lock, just that it is green.
This item has special properties you can adjust with the Wrench.
This item can't be destroyed - smashing it will return it to your backpack if you have room!
A lock makes it so only you (and designated friends) can edit an area.

The Emerald Lock is a lock introduced during the Valentine's Week event, along with other prizes.
The effect that the Emerald Lock has on the players is somewhat a worn-down effect of a Das Red Balloon.
Instead of 5 times the amount of gems, the Emerald Lock only gives 2 times the amount of gems.
In addition, this effect has a very low chance of occurring and is applicable only to the gem drop. The Emerald Lock is ideal for a farm world as the extra gems obtained from the effect add up.

Trivia
On 2 April 2016, the texture of the Emerald Lock was changed. 4 dark green dots were added on both the left and the right side of the lock, which seems to mimic a clover.
