When equipped, a blue calf pet appears and follows the player around. Moreover, this item grants the Icy Pet mod, which replaces the player's punch with ice beams fired from the calf's mouth.

The Ice Calf Leash is the second pet to be obtained from splicing trees, the first one being the Mini Mammoth Leash.
