Broadcasting is one of the basic tools of Growtopia. All broadcasts have a 15 second cooldown time period. Use /radio if you don't want to see broadcasts.
Requirements for a Broadcast
ALL Broadcasts
- Requires level 20 or Supporter rank.
Broadcast
- 100 Gems
Super Broadcast
- At least 200 Gems. Depends on the number of players online.
Super DUPER Broadcast
- 50 Growtokens
Custom Broadcast
- Costs 1 Gem per 5 people. Minimum people: 1001
Type of Broadcasts
Broadcast
A broadcast is done by doing /broadcast <message> or /bc "<message>" works for longer messages. This will send your message to 1000 random people for 100 gems, meaning you are paying 1 gem per 10 people. This is useful like when you have a new world and you want to advertise.
Super Broadcast
A Super Broadcast is done by doing /sb <message>, at a cost of 1 gem per 5 people. This will send your message to ALL online Growtopians. BEWARE! Game Moderators ARE WATCHING!!!
Super DUPER Broadcast
This is performed by typing in /sdb <message>. This sends a full screen mess
age to everyone online at a cost of 50 Growtokens. It was originally added on the 11th of August, 2014 during Player Appreciation Week. Since then it has been disabled and re-enabled numerous times as it caused some issues with the servers. As of November 11th 2014, it is currently Disabled.
Custom Broadcast
This is done by typing /cb <number of players> <message>, at a cost of 1 gem per 5 people. Requires to broadcast at least for 1001 people.
What NOT to broadcast
As stated in the Growtopian Gazatte, you are not allowed to broadcast about drop games, trust tests, etc. This will result in a warning and an eventual ban. You are placing yourself at a higher risk of being banned when you do /sb than when you do /broadcast.

You should also not to broadcast or SB about a Game Moderator in your world if a Moderator is not really there. Doing so will get you Duct-Taped because you are lying and trying to get Growtokens
