The World Key is an item used to trade worlds safely. It can be obtained by wrenching the World Lock and clicking the "Get World Key" button. After doing so, it will say, "You got a World Key! You can now trade this World to other Players!" The world key is lost when the owner exits the world.

Additional Info

The World Key cannot be obtained if there are: admins who have access to the world, locks other than the World Lock or items which are floating in the world.
The World Key is removed from the player's backpack if they leave the world.

Trivia

During the introduction of the Vending Machine, World Keys could be placed inside them for players to buy. However, upon buying, the world's ownership was not transferred to the buyer. This has been patched.
