Gems are the sole currency in Growtopia (Besides the imaginary currency used when trading items, or the Rarity rating). Gems can be found through IAP's or normal means.
There is a higher chance of getting gems from trees, so it is a good idea to plant a large amount of trees in a line and simply break them all. The best seed for this is the Grass seed.
