The Vampire Cape is a back item introduced during Halloween Week 2013. The cape grants the Double Jump mod and causes a flurry of bats to fly out of the player upon death. A single bat is also released every time the player jumps. The bat gradually shrinks the higher it gets. There is also a rare chance of obtaining the Inside-Out Vampire Cape instead.

Trivia

• This item is also required to complete the achievement, "Costume Contest".
• Flaming Cape can be obtained by burning this in a Highly Combustible Box.
• The item is a reference to Dracula.
• Prior to Halloween Week 2015, only one item or rarity 101 or more was required to be sacrificed to obtain the cape.
• This item is also necessary for the "Costume Contest" achievement which requires the player to wear a Vamp Vest, Vampire Fangs, Slick Black Hair and the Vampire Cape.
