The Death Ray is an unsplicable hand item which was added alongside the Mad Science Kit. One can be obtained from purchasing a Mad Science Kit from the Store for 5,000 gems.

You can vaporize bricks more quickly.

When equipped, this item grants the Death To Blocks! mod, allowing the player to break blocks faster.
