"Put your items up for auction with this Auction Block. Set the starting price and the duration for the auction. When the auction ends, whatever the final bid is will be the sale price so choose your starting price carefully. While an auction is running you will not be able to edit the world. This block is a one time use, upon a successful sale the block will become unusable."

The Auction Block is an unsplicable and untradable foreground block which was added as part of the Auction Block update on September 10, 2025.
Function
When placed by the world owner, the block allows them to select an item to auction, set its starting price, and choose a duration of 1 hour, 3 hours, or 12 hours. While an auction is active, players cannot modify the world.
Other players can join the auction by wrenching the block or using the auction UI on the left side of their screen. Bidders may raise the current price by 1, 10, or 100 World Locks.
Once the auction ends, the winning bidder will receive the item in their Mailbox, while the world owner will receive the proceeds in theirs. Afterward, the Auction Block will turn into an Auction Block - Sold Out, which can no longer be used.
