When equipped, the Serpent Shoulders grants the Punch Range + Punch Damage: Serpent Shoulders mod, which allows the player to punch one tile further and break blocks faster. Additionally, while punching, the serpent heads spit toxic balls alternately.

• The Serpent Shoulders is based on Quetzalcoatl, a deity in Aztec mythology whose name comes from the Nahuatl language and means "precious serpent" or "quetzal-feathered serpent".
