The Tainted Cheese is an unsplicable hand item which was added as part of the Challengers Approach! update.

Function

The stinkier the better.

I guess cheddar will have to do.

When equipped, this item grants the Malady Increase: Tainted Cheese mod which gives the player a higher chance of getting a vicious malady upon consuming a Vile Vial. A sewer rat pet also appears and follows the player around.
