A consumable item exclusive to moderators but some users have them as well. A player who is duct-taped will have their speech muffled. Whenever a muted player tries to chat, their words are replaced by sequences consisting of m's and f's, similar to someone in real life trying to talk with their mouth covered. Similar to the Iron Mask. Trying to get yourself Duct-Taped on purpose will result in a ban instead. An ominous sound is heard when another player is duct taped if in the same world as them.
