When equipped, the Megalodon grants the I'm On A Shark!'' mod, which allows the player to move faster in water. Unlike items such as the Swim Fins and Mermaid Tail, the Megalodon does not slow the player down on land.
The Megalodon shares exactly the same mod as its Halloween counterpart, the Demon Megalodon.
