What is mass producing ?

Mass producing is making the items through its splicing recipe tree, from the first recipe to the last recipe that makes them. All u need are the basic seeds: lava, dirt, cave background, door, rock, brick, grass, glass pane, window. And from those seeds, u will make the items. Mass producing consumes many time - the time for trees grow up and the time for u break the ingredients so you need to be patient. It's more fun and faster if u do with friends.

Basic seeds pricing.

You can farm the basic seeds yourself but it needs more time. Effective way is buy the basics seed from other growtopians. This is the table that shows u the price of each type of basic seeds:

How to mass producing ?

Example a toilet with splicing recipe tree

1 - Brick + Dirt = Brown Block

2 - Door + Dirt = Crappy Sign

3 - Brown Block + Crappy Sign = Toilet

Step 1: Do the first recipe.

Step 2: Harvest and break the items.

Step 3: Do the next recipe.

Step 4: Repeat Step 2 until you harvest the final items. (In this case, the final items are toilets, don't break them).

Splicing Recipe Tree: 

 Window + Door = Dungeon Door

Tip: You can make window by splicing wooden background with glass pane ( door + grass = wooden background)
